"Checkout made me feel like they don’t care"
I tried to buy a pair of jeans, but the payment options were really frustrating. There just weren’t enough choices, and the whole checkout felt outdated. It’s 2026, so I kind of expected a smoother experience. I ended up feeling like customers who want different payment options are just being ignored, and I gave up before finishing the order. I probably won’t shop here again unless they actually fix this.
"Not really the quality I was hoping for"
I was expecting these jeans to feel a bit more sturdy, so I was disappointed when they arrived. The stitching looked messy in a few spots, and the fabric just felt kind of cheap to me. I kept checking to see if I was overthinking it, but they really didn’t feel like they’d hold up well.

I only needed to swap for a different size, but the whole exchange process felt like a chore. The steps weren’t super clear, and I kept getting stuck on little things like which label to use and whether the original packaging had to be included. It ended up taking way more time than I expected for something that should’ve been simple.

I ordered jeans and ended up getting the wrong pair. I’ve emailed them a couple of times now, and each reply took around a few days. So far, there still hasn’t really been a proper fix, which is frustrating.

"Wrong jeans showed up and it was such a hassle"
I ordered one size and color, but completely different jeans turned up. I wasn’t expecting something this simple to turn into extra stress, but now I have to deal with returns and reordering. Really frustrating.

Look fine enough, but didn’t feel that great on. Felt stiff around the waist and got kinda scratchy after a few hours. Maybe okay for wearing out for a little bit, but wouldn’t choose them for a full day.

Ordered from junkfoodjeans.co.nz and the confirmation email wasn’t the best. Took a while to show up, and when it did, didn’t really include much detail. Wasn’t totally sure if my order had gone through properly, so kept checking my bank account and inbox. Maybe that’s just how they do it, but felt a bit messy to me

"Denim feels really, really thin"
I was disappointed with these jeans. The denim is just so thin, so thin that they feel more like jeggings than actual jeans. For the price, I really expected them to feel sturdier and more durable. I don’t see them holding up for very long

"Really disappointed with the packaging"
My order showed up in a really thin bag that was totally squashed and ripped down one side. Thankfully the jeans themselves were fine, but the packaging felt cheap and careless. it’s not what I expected, and I think an apology would be fair here.

"Pretty good everyday jeans for the money"
I ordered a pair of jeans from Junkfood Jeans, for the price, I’m happy with them. The denim has that slightly stiff feel at first, but not in a bad way, and I noticed the stitching around the pockets was neat, which I always weirdly check first. The fit was close to what I expected, though they were just a tiny bit tighter around the thighs than I pictured.
Shipping was fine, nothing exciting, but they showed up in one piece and the packaging wasn’t all crushed, so that’s a plus. They’re not fancy jeans, but for everyday wear, running errands, or just throwing on with sneakers, they do the job. Not perfect, but I’d probably buy another pair

"Shipping was the dealbreaker"
I was going to order the jeans because they looked decent, but once I got to checkout the shipping cost was way too high. The site also felt like it works when it wants, which made the whole thing more frustrating. In the end, it just didn’t feel worth it, so I didn’t place the order.

"The sale didn’t really win me back"
I checked out junkfoodjeans.co.nz during a sale because I thought I might finally grab something at a decent price, but most of the pieces I actually liked barely seemed discounted.
Some of the prices still felt high even after the markdown, and a lot of the sale items only had random sizes left. It kind of made me feel like the good stuff was either gone already or never really part of the sale in the first place.
It’s not the worst site or anything, but I’ve lost a bit of trust in their sales now. I don’t think I’d rush back next time there’s a promo, because this one just didn’t feel that worthwhile...

I went with the size I usually get, but the waist ended up being way too tight. It’s frustrating because it feels like the fit keeps changing, like you think you know what size to order and then the goalposts move on you
"Customer service wasn’t much help"
I just had a simple question about my order, but helpful they were really not. The replies were super short and it felt like they didn’t actually read what I wrote. I kept having to chase them, and still in the end I was confused. Not a great experience at all, I wouldn’t bother again.

"Refund is taking forever"
I’m still waiting on my refund and it’s getting really annoying. Every time I ask about it, I just get the same policy explanation instead of any real update. I get that there are rules, but using the policy as an excuse doesn’t make the long wait any less frustrating...

The return itself was easy, so no complaints there. The refund just took longer than I expected, and when I reached out, it kind of felt like nobody actually read my message. It got sorted in the end, but the communication could’ve been better...
